LIFELONG LEARNERS
✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
Our Academics:
We are, first and foremost, students. Membership in Delta Zeta is meant to enhance a woman’s college education, but learning to balance classroom and social responsibilities is a learned thing. We have developed programs and services to help our members enjoy academic success and build connections with others.

Our Resources:
Each semester, sisters are paired together with “Study Sisters”. Study sisters have similar schedules, classes, and majors, which allows them to act as resources for one another. This can provide a friendly face in a class, someone to study and do homework with, and someone to reach out to for academic assistance.

New members are also matched with a “Turtle Pal”. Turtle Pals are members who can act as a mentor for new members looking to follow a similar academic path. Mentors can give advice from their previous experience and help the new member navigate their major, classes, and any obstacles along the way.

Members are also given access to many professional resources, which includes speakers, leadership opportunities, and a networking forum with alumni who are excited to help active members reach their professional goals.

We are very proud to have one of the highest Panhellenic GPAs on campus. In Spring of 2020 we achieved the highest chapter GPA with an average of 3.8. Delta Zeta members are expected to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above. For any members struggling with that requirement, there are multiple academic resources that offered to help them raise and maintain their GPA.
